Childbirth Education

At Homestead Natural Birth, we know that childbirth is a time of spiritual and personal growth as well as normal physical changes.

Our aim is to promote healthy awareness in pregnancy, birth and natural parenting, and to help families enjoy this time as a positive transition in their lives!

Our flexible class style is in keeping with the knowledge that family members or friends have an active part in healthy pregnancy and safe, gentle birth.

The programs are supported partly with class fees and partly with donations.
Discounted fees may be available.

TEEN PREGNANCY & BIRTH CLASSES and SUPPORT RESOURCES INFORMATION

Teen mothers-to-be need a respectful, supportive and creative environment for learning about health & well-being, birth choices, and caring for a new baby.

We believe that every pregnant woman has the right to make informed birth choices. When offered responsible information, she can become better equipped to begin her new life, with more of the encouragement and confidence needed to make conscious choices for herself and her baby.

We provide a list of additional resources which offer support and assistance to teen mothers, including the option of care with midwife. Continuing support groups of peers and counselors develop from these classes.

The teen birth classes are supported by our other programs. There is no cost to the teen mother-to-be.
